TRAIN TO BUSAN: To Be Re-Released in Theaters November 4th

It’s Baaaack!!! Mega Hit “Train To Busan” Returns to US Theaters!

On November 4th, fans will get a chance at revival as Well Go USA re-releases its mega box office hit, Train To Busan (부산행/Busanhaeng) starring Gong Yoo, Jung YuMi, Ma DongSeok and Kim EuiSung. The action-packed zombie thriller wowed audiences this past summer to the point that requests for a sequel came flooding in from all over the internet. Directed by Yeon SangHo, “Train To Busan” follows a set of passengers on route to the city of Busan as they come face to face with a deadly virus that has taken over the train. As the bullet train speeds its way down the rails, the passengers must fight to survive the ride and make it to the safety of Busan.

Of course, Gong Yoo fans will undoubtedly rejoice at the opportunity to see the action star on the big screen again in one of his most challenging roles to date. He, along with his star-studded cast mates, delivered tremendously on excitement, action and fear.  Those not fans of horror movies would appreciate that the movie isn’t all gore and zombies as several social and political concerns are addressed giving rise to its overall popularity.

Having earned $34 million in only the first five days of its July 22nd release, “Train to Busan” was a global sensation. If the nearly $85 million grossed isn’t enough to show it, Well Go USA presenting a second release is also testament to the movie’s popularity. While its popularity peaked in its home country of South Korea and in Hong Kong, international fans also came out to support the zombie flick. The initial release in the United States was to a limited number of locations and played for only a short while yet sold out in multiple locations. If you missed your chance before, you can catch the critically acclaimed thriller in ten cities in the U.S.

Show times are available for select cities. Are you happy to that TTB is coming back to theaters in the U.S.? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
