MACG Magazine Announces Its Editorial Staff, Prepares for Team Expansion

MACG Magazine, a newcomer in the digital magazine industry, announced their editorial staff and recruitment plans on November 23, 2016. The online publication is a division of Multifacetedacg Productions LLC (MACG Productions) with defined interest in music, the arts, and creative contributions of this generation. The magazine went live August of this year.

“I am very excited about the recent promotions at MACG Magazine,” shares DeShonda Thigpen, Managing Editor. “Our writing team has worked very hard to provide quality content for all readers to enjoy.” Thigpen advanced from Editor to Managing Editor at the close of third quarter 2016. Thigpen is also a content contributor for DramaFever, SnackFever and maintains Korean drama blog K-Drama Paradise. Supporting her as Assistant Editor is Jodie Davidson, a young metro-Houston native and Junior Writer for the magazine. Hallyu Vlogger J.V. (Simplyjbaby) and K-pop variety radio host Immy Edwards will contribute as Social Media Coordinator — Instagram and Twitter, respectively — and continue to contribute as Junior Writers.

As the readership continues to grow in over 90 countries, the team will open recruitment for additional content contributors from now until Saturday, December 3, 2016. New and established writers with an interest in the following subjects are strongly encouraged to apply:

  • C-Pop
  • J-Pop
  • Film and Television, and
  • Gaming
