Mr. House Husband Episode 13 Recap

This episode of Mr. House Husband is the second part of their holiday chores special. Last week’s episode ended with the 6 men preparing food for the holidays at Kim Jung-Tae’s home in Busan. The tasks were assigned to groups of two. Super team Moon Se-Yoon with Kim Jung-Tae, Kim Seung-Woo with Kim Il-Jung, and lastly Bong Tae-Gyu with Eli.

To welcome the youngest member, Eli, the cast members decided to prank him. As Eli is running an errand away from the others, they plan their prank. The main actors for the scheme are Tae-Gyu and Jung-Tae. With the goal of making the young singer cry, they involve the staff. Once Eli returned and all the food has been prepared, the prank starts. Bong Tae-Gyu and Kim Jung-Tae pretend to get into a heated argument over using cell phones during the shoot and while they are spending time together. Although the members frightened Eli, he did not shed a single tear. Watch the episode here, to see the whole prank.

The six men share dinner together and talk about their wives and mothers. After spending their day preparing and cooking food, they sympathize with the women in their lives. The cast gets emotional as they watch Jung-Tae talk about his mother, who passed away before he got married. The holidays are very difficult times for those who no longer have their parents alive, especially their mothers.

To finish off the holiday chores special, the cast play Yut in teams of three to decide who gets to clean the dishes for the day. Kim Jung-Tae, Kim Seung-Woo and Kim Il-Joong are in the OB team. Bong Tae-Gyu, Moon Se-Yoon and Eli are in the YB team. Losing team will clean the dishes, this honor is given to the YB team. Between the three men in a game of Jegi, or Hacky Sack, they decide which of the three will clean. With absolutely no points, Bong Tae-Gyu is given the task.
