“Produce 101 Season 2” might have created Wanna One, but the broadcast brought another set of young men to the forefront to form Just Be Joyful (JBJ) on Oct. 18, 2017. Members of JBJ did not make the top 11, but fan support created an avenue for the mix of trainees and previously debuted entertainers to perform.
The project group is managed by Fave Entertainment and consists of members Noh Taehyun, Takada Kenta, Kim Sang-gyun, Kim Yong-guk, Kwon Hyun-bin and Kim Dong-han. Taehuyn, leader of JBJ, is also a member of boy band HOTSHOT, who made a comeback with “Jelly” on July 15, 2017. JBJ’s name has a Korean translation, “Jungmla Baramjikhan JoHap” meaning “real desirable group.” The group will performed on Dec. 9 at the Cheer Up For You 2017 at the Anyang Sports Complex in Gyeonggi, South Korea. The group will conclude activities sometime in spring 2018.
