LOS ANGELES, CA (October 28, 2019) — Following the exciting announcement that five-member JYP girl group ITZY will be hitting the U.S. with their very first Stateside tour, JYP Entertainment and SubKulture Entertainment are happy to confirm that tickets will go on sale Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019 at 10 AM (Venue’s Local Time)!

ITZY will kick off 2020 with a much-anticipated tour. The quintet plans to make stops in a total of five cities across the States in January. The tour, called ITZY PREMIERE SHOWCASE TOUR ‘ITZY? ITZY!’ IN USA, will start in Los Angeles on Jan. 17, 2020. From there, the girls will make their way to Minneapolis, Houston, Washington D.C. and New York.

ITZY officially debuted on Feb. 12, 2019. The group is comprised of members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna. They debuted with single album “It’z Different.” The album includes title track “Dalla Dalla.” ITZY scored one of the biggest Billboard debuts for a new K-pop act. “Dalla Dalla” entered at No. 3 and peaked at No. 2 on the World Digital Song Sales chart. The song also debuted as the second most popular song on YouTube. This garnered them the rightful title of “monster rookies.”

The visually explosive music video for “Dalla Dalla” surpassed a whopping 17.1 million views within 24 hours of release. According to Billboard, ITZY premiered at #34 on the Emerging Artists chart after the release of their second single “Icy” and first album “It’z Icy.” Previously the group peaked at #19 on the Social 50 chart. “Icy” peaked at No. 7 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart. To date, the music video has racked up over 108 million views since its late-July release.

The female quintet’s name exudes a powerful confidence. It screams, “We have everything you want, right?” ITZY references the Korean phrase “있지,” which translates as “to have,” “have/got it” or “there is.” Undoubtedly, the name holds a significant purpose. It conveys the idea that the five-member ensemble has everything that fans could hope for in a group. The group has almost 1.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. Without a doubt, ITZY has captured the hearts of fans globally with their undeniable charisma and confidence, empowering anthems and eye-catching visuals.
