Fox made a hit series “24”. Gregory played the U.S. president in the same series and the audience loved it.
His death was confirmed by his show producer and director Jon Cassar. They have not yet revealed the reason yet.
“My friend Greg Itzin passed away today,” Cassar Tweeted. “He was one of the most talented actors I had the honor to work with but more than that he was an all-around great guy. He’ll be missed by his 24 families who had nothing but love & respect for him. You made your mark, now Rest in Peace friend.”

Gregory Itzin was initially given a recurring role on “24” but soon he was promoted and given the role of president of the US. obviously, such an important role changed his life and he became a main character in the show. his former fame to glory was in 1993 when he was nominated for Tony Awards.
Itzin was born and raised in Washington D.C. He liked doing theater and was working at the beginning of his career at American Conservatory Theater. soon a casting director spotted him and gave him small roles in TV shows like Mork & Mindy, Charlie’s Angels, Fame, Dallas, Hill Street Blues, and Lou Grant. The movies also liked him and he had multiple movie projects simultaneously.
in 1989 he got his big chance and had a big role to play in a sitcom by Mel brooks. He played countless small roles all his life and that is how he spent his life. he had to wait all his life for a central role.
