He died on Wednesday at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. The cause of his death is not known yet. Just now his wife told that he was already ill but his death was not due to illness.

Ann Calvert spoke about the accolade on Wednesday evening, saying, “I always felt good because I always felt proud of her. He never did anything I wasn’t proud of,” he said.

Retired as co-host of WCSX 94.7-FM’s “Detroit’s Classic Rock” on December 20, 2013 Ken Calvert also created his own podcast called “The Ken Calvert Show”.
