British actor Tom Holland has talents that go beyond portraying our favorite friendly neighborhood Avenger. In addition to being a trained dancer and a dead-on Rihanna impersonator, Tom is very, very good … at unintentional spoilers. Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe no doubt recall the hilarious moments early this year when Tom let a few details slip about the upcoming films. While those slip-ups didn’t save us from the excruciating pain of “Avengers: Infinity War” (we’re still not okay, Russo Brothers), the most recent MCU spoiler may help us sleep better at night:
The 22-year-old star gave fans a sneak peek at the title for the upcoming Spiderman film, “Spiderman: Far From Home.” He confirmed the title for the movie in a social media video and expressed his excitement over the script. Marvel Studio’s President Kevin Feige confirmed that Peter Parker and his classmates will return for a school trip that takes them overseas. The details of this movie’s place in the MCU timeline are still unclear.
While it’s exciting to get details on one of the Marvel films we’ll be seeing in the next few years, fans are understandably skeptical. The reason behind that skepticism can’t be explained without major spoilers for “Infinity War” (if you don’t know about the ending yet, I’m going to assume this is your first time on the internet). But it’s fair to say that we’re going to need Tom to give us a bit more to work with.
