The performances just keep coming! On Nov. 29, BTS appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to perform for an impressive-sized crowd.
The mini-concert is part of a series for the late-night talk show, in which artists can present a fuller set rather than one or two songs. BTS took full advantage of the solo stage, performing six songs: “Go Go,” “Save Me,” “I Need U,” “Fire,” “Blood, Sweat & Tears” and “Mic Drop Remix.” The first four were streamed via YouTube before the broadcast as exclusive content, while “BS&T” and “Mic Drop” aired during the broadcast.
The fans in attendance showed up and showed out, hyping the boys with customary fan chants and waving Bangtan Bombs — the group’s official lightstick and staple concert accessory — in excitement. All in an effort to make the boys feel comfortable, which worked. BTS returned the crowd’s energy while performing and also in between songs, saying their thank-yous in English.
The Jimmy Kimmel appearance is one of three American talk show visits the band prerecorded while stateside in mid-November, the other two being “The Ellen Degeneres Show” and “The Late Late Show with James Corden.”
