Diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer
A diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer was made for Pilgrim, and he subsequently disclosed that the disease had spread to his femur, the base of his spine, and his lymph nodes.
In 1988, he was given the diagnosis of testicular cancer for the first time. Following an operation and a course of treatment that lasted for many months, his cancer was said to be in remission. Pilgrim discovered that his cancer had returned in the beginning of the year 2022.
“No, Chuck Norris, I’m not you. Indeed, I do feel frightened. I am also physically robust. Both of these feelings are intertwined with one another. Incredible medical professionals are taking care of me, and I’m surrounded by people who love me. This is the tale of my life. “And there will be further chapters in the future,” he stated at the time.
He kept a journal throughout the rest of his voyage, detailing his fight against the virus known as Covid-19, his recoveries after surgery, and the time he spent with his family.
At the beginning of the year, he made good on his promise to make the most of the time he had left by putting a marriage proposal in front of his girlfriend, Adrianne Watkins. Since the beginning of his fight against cancer, Watkins had never left his bedside.
People who were close to the celebrity issued warnings about the propagation of false rumours about his death on social media last month, after stories went viral that a guy with a similar first name and last name had passed away.
The family of John Pilgrim expressed gratitude to everyone of Pilgrim’s admirers and followers for their love and support.
“His family would like to extend their gratitude to you for being a part of his journey, for loving and celebrating him, and for always supporting him,”
