Lisa Marie Presley, a singer and the lone child of the late Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, passed away on Thursday, hours after being admitted to the hospital for what seemed to be a heart arrest, according to her mother. She was 54 years old.

Speaking on behalf of the LA County Fire Department, Kaitlyn Aldana told CNN that at 10:37 a.m. local time, emergency personnel were sent to a cardiac arrest call in the 5000 block of Normandy Drive in Agoura Hills, California.
Aldana declined to confirm the patient’s name because of privacy restrictions, but she did say that the patient was brought to a nearby hospital at 11:17 a.m.
While assisting fire officials on a medical call this morning, a LA County Sheriff representative informed CNN, but would not confirm the patient’s name.

Most recently, Lisa Marie Presley was spotted on Tuesday night at the Golden Globe Awards with her mother to support the Baz Luhrmann movie “Elvis.” by his late father.
