Tampa mother found dead: what happened?
Near the Easton Park Subdivision in New Tampa, police found the body of a 22-year-old mother. The family has named the lady as 22-year-old Alana Sims. They said she was around five months along in her pregnancy.

Sims’s 23rd birthday would have been on February 13. Since Alana Sim did not live in the neighbourhood, police are trying to figure out what led to her death. A lady was found unresponsive in the 10700 block of Pictorial Park Drive, in the Easton Park area, according to the police.
Shortly after 10 p.m. on Monday, police were contacted and found the 20-something female victim next to her vehicle, dead from “upper body trauma.” The authorities believe this was a targeted homicide because she did not live in the area. Authorities said she was driving with her baby asleep in the backseat of her Ford EcoSport SUV.
The Sims family is desperate for information about Alana.
Alana Sims’s body was discovered in the back of her SUV, and her kid, who was only a year old, was found inside, unhurt. The circumstances of her death are currently being investigated by police.
According to Alana’s mom, Shahlevi Sims, “he was her everything.”
She had a heart of gold and was very likeable. To paraphrase, “She shouldn’t have to die young” or “She didn’t have to die young. ‘And everyone should know that you know, your loved ones, you want to keep them near because you just don’t know,’ Shahlevi Sims, Alana’s mother, added.
Her death is under investigation, and detectives are now interviewing potential witnesses and gathering evidence.
Alana’s exact cause of death remained a mystery. The police are keeping their fingers crossed that someone nearby has security footage that captured the incident.
Early Tuesday morning reports indicated that the tiny youngster was unhurt and was being cared for by a relative.
Crystal Clark, a spokeswoman for the Tampa Police Department, called the incident “a horrible tragedy.”
The girl was riding in the backseat of the car when her mother was murdered, and the speaker says, “You have a child today who is without a mother because someone stole her life.”
The police are asking everyone in the area who has a security camera to go through it for any footage that may help them solve the murder.
