Washington, DC native and 44-year-old Marquez Parker dated a woman named Selita Lee. However, the allegations against him of kidnapping his fiancée at gunpoint have been shown to be true.

He was brought into prison, but he passed away in a district jail cell not long after his arrival. D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded and tried to resuscitate him, but he was pronounced dead at the spot. His death is currently being investigated by the Metropolitan Police. Hours after being arrested, Marquez Parker passed away in a police holding cell. Around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, the Metropolitan Police Department discovered Parker unresponsive and not breathing. He was declared dead at the site, despite police efforts to revive him using Narcan, CPR, and a defibrillator.
