A few hours later, at 9 p.m., mobile phone records showed that she had started walking towards her house but had never arrived. Police have been looking into Susana’s disappearance for months, and the discovery of her remains marks a devastating conclusion to the hunt.
This case involves human remains recovered in Gwinnett County, and the police are now conducting an investigation.
It seems she may have gotten into a vehicle, according to the Gwinnett County police investigation. Until she switched off her phone’s location services, they kept pinpointing her exact whereabouts. More than 20 miles away from her house, down Drowning Creek Road, near this same Barrow County boundary, her body was discovered. A driver who saw the suspects still standing on the roadside called police.
