The ‘infamous’ wide receiver Antonio Brown, who has been in the news recently for all the wrong reasons, is eager to return to the NFL. Even though he demonstrated eagerness to resume competing during the previous season, he was unable to secure any sponsorship.

It’s understandable that the coaches and the owners don’t have faith in Brown. After all, the team, the quarterback, and the coach who gave him a second chance to display his brilliance had to endure the infamous receiver’s furious outbursts for quite some time. Brown’s behavior against the Buccaneers and Brady, while receiving overwhelming support, is indicative of a significant problem on the man’s part.

Antonio shifted his concentration to music but still sought influence by posting dubious comments about Tom Brady and his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen on social media. But now that he’s ready to return to the NFL, Antonio is once again making headlines, right when he was beginning to fade from public view.

Brown tweeted, “Excited to return to the NFL this year,” alongside a photo of himself wearing a Ravens jersey and the hashtag #RavensFlock. Some of Antonio’s followers were probably baffled by his Tweet. Many people have warned the WR to look out for himself; some have even poked fun at him by saying he’s gone completely insane.

In January of last year, Brown was kicked from the team after he flung his jersey into the bleachers and stormed off the field during a game between the Bucs and the Jets. Is he intent on mounting a genuine comeback?

Who is Antonio Brown?

From 2010 to 2018, Antonio Brown was a wide receiver and punt returner with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL. Brown is an American professional football player. He was signed by the New England Patriots in 2019 after being traded to the Oakland Raiders. Although he is the son of legendary ‘Arena Football League’ player Eddie Brown, the younger Brown spent his formative years apart from his father and struggled to find positive adult role models throughout his adolescence. Despite this, he was eventually recruited by Central Michigan University and signed with the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers as a wide receiver. He quickly rose to the position of team captain and went on to shatter a number of ‘NFL’ scoring records.

Antonio Brown’s Career

Antonio Brown did not finish his senior year of college since he decided to pursue the 2010 “NFL Draft.” The ‘Pittsburgh Steelers’ picked him in the second round of the draft (round 22) to be their second wide receiver.

In 2010, he made his NFL debut against the Tennessee Titans. His team won the AFC North division and advanced to the Super Bowl, where the Green Bay Packers defeated them in February 2011.

He competed with Emmanuel Sanders, Arnaz Battle, Limas Sweed, and Jerricho Cotchery for a spot on the Steelers’ offense in 2011, and he beat out all of them to become the team’s third wide receiver behind Hines Ward and Mike Wallace. He played in all 16 games that year, catching 69 passes for 1,108 yards and three touchdowns while making three starts.
In 2012, he had a tough season highlighted by a $10,000 fine for unsportsmanlike conduct in a game against the ‘Washington Redskins.’ He sprained his ankle and missed three games as a result. He played in 13 games and started 10, with 66 catches for 787 yards and five scores.

A starting wide receiver for the ‘Pittsburgh Steelers’ in 2013, he surpassed Yancey Thigpen’s 1997 mark of 1,398 yards received in a single season. He also became the second Steeler all-time with at least 100 catches, after Hines Ward.
