John and I had known him since before MAD Crew was a thing and he will always be Alibear. To our kids he is Uncle Al. To the crew he was the one with the best hugs and worst jokes who could literally have people on the floor laughing at nearly every gig. If he was your friend you had a friend for life and you were blessed. I can ‘t believe I am going to say this but I will actually miss the ‘cheese joke battles’ that him and Dumbo used to have, I will miss the hugs, I will miss the little cartons of his delicious homemade soup he used to treat me. with, I will miss his wicked ridiculous sense of humor and we will all miss him, he was a true living legend and there are so many who feel the same way, it really is a sad day. He was a man with his flaws and weaknesses just like the rest, yet he was one in a million. We love you Ali and will speak of you often and miss you always.
