Sudden Death of fort Bragg soldier Maj.Eric

According to Chief Elvia Kelly of the US Army Special Operations Command Public Affairs Office, a Fort Bragg Soldier from Greer was found unconscious in a car and ultimately died. According to Kelly, Maj. On Friday, Eric “Adam” Ewoldsen, 38, was discovered unconscious in his vehicle at Fort Bragg.

According to reports, Maj Eric Adam Ewoldsen was the special officer of US Army Public Affairs. According to the chief of US special operations command, he was 38 years old when he breathed his final breath last Friday. People are curious about what caused his untimely and unexplained death, and we have learned that his autopsy reports are still pending, and the cause of his death will be established once the autopsy reports are released. The achievements of Mr. Eric

In 2008, he was assigned to the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Fort Richardson, Alaska; in 2010, he was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia; and in 2012, he was assigned to the 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. Kelly stated he was given to USASOC in 2016 and has deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq many times in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Inherent Resolve.

Ewoldsen’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (fourth award); Meritorious Service Medal (second award); Army Commendation Medal (third award); Army Achievement Medal; Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Afghanistan Campaign Medal (three campaign stars); Iraq Campaign Medal (three campaign stars); Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon (third award); NATO Medal; Ranger Tab; Combat Infantryman Badge; Expert Infantryman Badge; Military Free Fall Parachutist Badge; and Parachutist Badge.

According to Kelly, he was assigned to the US Army Special Operations Command. Brent Poynter and Ewoldsen have been great friends for 30 years. They grew up in Greer, where Poynter now lives with his wife and children. Poynter remarked, “He served his nation harder and better than anyone I’ve ever known.”

Ewoldsen was a standout wrestler in high school, according to Poynter, and was a crucial player on the Eastside High School Wrestling state championship teams in 2000 and 2001. Those teams were a driving force behind the program’s recent success.
