One victim is dead and another is severely injured after a shooting took place at Weathertech.
Police said around 6:25, a police team was sent to Weathertech to check on shooting victims.
police have verified there were a total of three victims and one of them is no more, another is in hospital and one more is released from a medical facility.
Charles C. McKnight Jr, of Chicago, is the accused. Police found him behind a home early morning. police apprehended him and searched him, they found the weapon used in the shooting.
Mcknight was trying to loot theater tech employees at gunpoint. They were his colleagues and he tried to rob their watch and cash. some other colleagues interrupted and asked Mcknight to leave them alone but McKnight got angry and shot his coworkers for a small amount of money. Police claim that the shooting was not pre-planned, it happened during the argument.
The Bolingbrook shooter is arrested by police and the weapon is recovered:

everyone in the shooting was associated with Weathertech.
Passed away victim- Central Hightower, 37, from Plainfield, Illinois.
The victim who sustained serious injuries- was a 25-year-old man and was also one of the earlier robbery victims.
The third victim who is safe- is a 43-year-old man.
McKnight is sent to Will County Adult Detention Facility Saturday night. Will be presented in bond court the next day.

Sen. Eric Mattson (D-IL) made this statement:
“My heart goes out to the victims and their families, and I pray that the three people who’ve been shot will recover. While much remains to be learned about the perpetrator, what’s clear is that this individual should not have had a gun because they were not mentally fit to be a responsible gun owner. We need real gun reform, and we need it now. Without taking action, we continue to put people and first responders at risk of devastation and tragedy.”
Congressman Bill Foster (D-IL) also commented:
“Today, our community has been shattered by yet another act of senseless gun violence. Words cannot express the heartbreak the victims and their families are feeling right now. My thoughts are with them during these difficult times. This is a statement I had hoped I would never have to make again in my career. Just three years ago, a shooting at Henry Pratt in Aurora took five innocent lives and injured six police officers. Fourteen years ago, one of my first official acts as a Congressman was to attend memorial services for the victims of the NIU shootings in DeKalb. No one should have to worry about random gun violence while going about their normal lives, and we cannot accept this as a new reality. While the details are still developing, it’s clear we owe a debt of gratitude to the law enforcement and first responders who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe and rush into harm’s way to protect innocent people.”
