Just hours after the Bulldogs toasted their second consecutive national championship with a parade & ceremony, Georgia offensive lineman Devin Willock as well as a member of the recruiting staff perished in a car accident early on Sunday, according to the school.

All About Devin Willock’s Death
The collision took place south of the Georgia campus in Athens and injured two other football players. They weren’t immediately recognized, but the school said that both were doing well. As per a statement from the Athens-Clarke County police department, the single-vehicle collision happened at around 2.45 am. A 2021 Ford Expedition crashed into two power poles and several trees, according to a statement from the Athens-Clarke County Police Department.
LeCroy, the driver, was taken to the hospital where she later passed away from her injuries, according to the police; Willock, the passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. At the scene, 20-year-old Willock was declared dead. Chandler LeCroy, the car’s 24-year-old driver, was taken to the hospital, where she succumbed to her wounds. LeCroy worked with the Bulldogs as a recruiting analyst. According to the police, a female passenger, 26, and a male passenger, 21, both suffered serious injuries.
