After the terrifying incident, the Metropolitan Police Department arrested 42-year-old Glynn Neal and charged him with assault with intent to murder. Just before 5:30 o’clock on Saturday evening, police were called to the 300 block of H Street for a stabbing call.
The adult male victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The victim of the attack is an employee of Senator Paul’s office, he said. The Kentucky Republican said he was shocked by the news and was praying for the victim. This past weekend, in broad daylight in Washington, DC, a member of my staff was violently attacked,” he stated.
Paul praised the efforts of the police and medical personnel who reacted to the incident. After a stabbing incident on H Street NE at around 5:15 p.m., police say they have arrested Glynn Neal on suspicion of assault with intent to commit a felony.
Why was he arrested?
An uncle positively recognized the victim as Philip Todd, 26, and paramedics rushed him to the hospital. He sustained injuries that may have ended his life. A member of my staff was attacked in broad daylight in Washington, D.C., over the weekend. I know Kelley and I speak for everyone when we say, “We are pleased to learn the culprit has been captured. The Metropolitan Police Department said that at at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, its officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of H Street. The victim, who has yet to be identified, is in critical condition at a local hospital.
