Former bassist and co-founder of influential Los Angeles punk band The Weirdos, Dix Denney, has passed away. Please provide further information on Dix Denney’s death and its circumstances.
What happened to Dix Denney?
Dix Denney of The Weirdos has passed away in a tragic turn of events. Flea, a famous artist and the bassist for the RHCP, posted a condolence message on Instagram after hearing about Dix Denney’s death. He described him thus: “He was a musician, a painter, a sculptor, an innovator, and a manufacturer of instruments. I’m thankful for our friendship. He screamed, “wiggle your fucking toes!” He didn’t chitchat much, but his remarks were always astute and humorous.
I looked up to him and hoped he liked me, too. I went far into the woods with him and made music with him. In 1975, he and his handsome sibling John created the punk music band The Weirdos. Amazing and easily the best punk band I’ve ever heard. As a result, I am currently through a period of grieving. In perpetuity, Dix Denney. A fantastic artist has passed away; rest in peace, handsome man.
Cause of Passing away of Dix Denney
The older brother of Dex mourned the loss of his younger sibling on the internet. And it proclaims “With heavy heart I must inform you that my dear brother Dix has passed away. Last Friday night he died quietly in his sleep. Only four short months after losing his stunning wife of 44 years, Annick. We believe he perished from emotional distress. Like his parents, he was a true artist at heart. Dix wasn’t only a skilled guitarist, talented painter and luthier. He was a quiet man who expressed his frustration via his music. He’s my brother and my guitar idol all rolled into one.
Although his death has been confirmed, the circumstances surrounding it and those of Dix remain shrouded in mystery. Friends and family members have flooded social media with sorrowful expressions since the news broke.
