MC Singing Fats Wildale Spencer popularly known as MC Singing Fats has left for a heavenly abode. The legendary jungle drum and bass vocalist is known for his sensational soft voice and reggae and unchallenged background grooving music.
The news of his death has not yet been officially released by any of his family members or relatives but fans have poured heartfelt condolences and support to his departed soul and his family.
RAM Records Andy C confirmed the news of MC Fats’ Death by penning down a heartfelt note that stated that MC Fats was the dearest and loveliest member of their family and his death has shaken everyone from the core and the entire group is heartbroken. Singing Fats was accorded as the Legend member of DNB (Drum ‘n’ Bass) by Andy C of RAM Records. RAM Records showed grief and extended condolences to Singing Fats’ family and friends.
After the release of the tweet from Andy C, the fans started pouring heartfelt notes for the deceased enhancing his legacy and respecting his work. Tweets were flooded with messages from fans and followers who were ardent fanatics of MC Singing Fats.
One of the fans acclaimed that MC Fats was the heart of his playlist and his group enjoyed listening to his songs. He went on to say that his song created magic and his voice was so distinct and had a separate fan base.
Several other rappers and singers from the industry paid tribute to the departed soul. Doc Scott who is a member of DNB also paid tribute to MC Fats saying he would be remembered and his humor was unmatched. Doc went on to pen that he would forever treasure the laughter and good times he shared with MC Fats. He quoted that “it’s a sad day for DNB”.
Who was MC Singing Fats?
MC Fats was a member of the famous DNB (Drums ‘n’ Bass) group and performed as an instrumentalist, vocalist, and drummer and was definitely the sensation of the group. He is famous for appearing in tracks produced by DJ Hype such as Peace, Love, and Unity.
He has also worked on several albums like Caliber, Pendulum, Chase & Status, and Dillinja. Earlier in November 2022, he released his album called Natural Way with Break. MC Fats was continuously releasing hits up until 2022.
MC Fats has been featured in various popular labels such as RAM Records, Digital Soundboy, V Recordings, Shogun Audio, and, Metalheadz.
What Caused MC Singing Fats’ Death?
MC Fats was recovering from underlying health conditions for several past years. He was admitted to the hospital in 2013 and was undergoing treatment to cure diabetes. Furthermore, MC Fats was subjected to several surgical procedures following a partial leg amputation to cure diabetes.
In 2014, a fundraiser event was organized in the name of MC Fats Collective to accumulate funds for his heart surgery. This event was organized with the help of DJ A Slides in collaboration with producers comprising Alix Perex, Break, and SPY.
A few years back in 2018, MC Fats underwent major cardiac surgery in a hospital in Sardinia due to underlying heart disease and persistent breathing problems.
