Madeline Kingsbury’s loved ones are looking around the area where she was last seen in hopes of finding clues about her location. Winona PD has contacted nearby Wilson Township and Hillsdale Township communities for assistance. Family, friends, and neighbours are worried because the missing person’s whereabouts are unclear. When Madeline didn’t show up to work, her phone, wallet, ID and jacket, she wore that morning were all found inside the house. On Wednesday, the police department produced a map detailing the top search areas for the missing person. Winona police say there are no suspects or persons of interest.
Although police have asked for the public’s help tracking down the minivan Ms Kingsbury was riding in on the day she vanished, all of their efforts thus far have been focused on the van itself. After checking the van and Ms Kingsbury’s residence, Chief Tom Williams confirmed that the vehicle was still there. A van matching the description left the property and was spotted in Winona County and Fillmore County when it turned around and drove back to the original location.
