Acting Senior Sergeant Michelle Mullen struck the side of the wind tunnel at the city’s iFly Indoor Skydiving facility last Thursday and was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in critical condition.

According to a Queensland Police spokeswoman, police are aiding Work Health and Safety (WHS) investigations into the catastrophic injuries sustained on January 19 by a 52-year-old lady at a Chermside indoor skydiving facility. On January 25, the woman tragically passed away at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital from her wounds.
