Who was Tom Foty?
Tom Foti was a famous radio news anchor, journalist, manager and technology consultant. He was interested in journalism since childhood. He and his family sought asylum in the United States during the failed Hungarian Revolution of 1956.
He started his career as news director and general manager of the school’s radio station. He also worked with WINS, 98.7 WOR-FM/WXLO, NPR, the New York Daily News, the Associated Press and 1010 WINS Radio Station. After that he joined the radio of United Press International in 1973. After that, in 1984, he joined NBC News Radio as Deputy Washington Bureau Chief. After that in 1998 he participated in CBS News Radio.
