MoneySign Suede, a 22-year-old rapper, reportedly committed suicide days before his release from prison. After seeing him stabbed in the jail shower, authorities transported him to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The musician’s family has shared an Instagram message confirming the death of the young rapper: Please do not fall for any scammers; our family has not set up a gofundme in response to your sympathies.
The 22-year-old’s popularity has been on the rise since he released his first album in March 2022. Both Parkside Baby and Parkside Santa were released under his name in the same year.

MoneySign Suede served 32 months in prison for gun-related crimes in Riverside County. He faced further charges for gun possession in Los Angeles County and estimated a two-year sentence. Suede surrendered to authorities in December of last year and was subsequently placed in the Soledad State Prison. After a month, he received a video on YouTube detailing his last day free before he went to jail. He had numerous brushes with the law and was eventually killed by them.
In addition, three people were killed and four more were injured at a shooting at a warehouse party he was performing at in Boyle Heights in June of 2022. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office identified two of the deceased as Randy Tyson (age 25) and Daniel Dunbar (age 27). People are stunned and heartbroken at his unexpected passing.
