Some of Netflix’s best shows and films are buried deep within its catalogue. Included in this group is Workin’ Moms. A hilarious comedy that celebrates the modern family and the power couples that emerge in the workplace.

The fact that Workin’ Moms has been on the air for seven seasons is the biggest shocker. Catherine Reitman, the show’s creator, told Variety that she was blindsided by the show’s immense popularity and hadn’t planned for it to last more than a single season.

Synopsis of the Seventh Season of “Workin’ Moms”

Season 7 picks up right where Season 6 left off, however certain episodes may feature contextual (and sometimes blatant) flashbacks. First things first: did ex-client turned assailant Anne Carlson (Dani Kind) make it out of the car crash alive? As Anne’s husband Lionel (Ryan Belleville) and her friend Kate (Reitman) try to find their way in the world again following the attempt on Anne’s life, this question is answered very quickly, setting the tone for the film’s signature brand of lighthearted comedy.

Season 7 of Workin’ Moms demonstrates why this story has been successful for so long, yet it’s still quite clear that the programme needs to end. Fans will be disappointed in the end, but at least it wasn’t cancelled without warning.

A tearful goodbye was shown on the TV show. Seven seasons is a remarkable achievement in this day and age of cancellations (many Netflix shows are cancelled after only two seasons).

In Season 7, we get back to our regularly scheduled monitoring of the arduous process of parenthood and its attendant careers. Kate has been in the working world for some time, and her success is well-documented.

Season 7 is fun because it throws one last challenge to her as she juggles her married life, new family responsibilities, and wealthy client. Kate is irreplaceable, but her misfortunes may be very annoying.

Anne, perhaps the production’s co-protagonist, continues to have difficulty keeping her life and daughter under control. The commanding protagonist gets a second chance at life following a near-death experience.

When she has to fight her wayward daughter and judge her friend’s decisions, the idea of letting go becomes her kryptonite. Being Anne is challenging. Put the blame where it rightfully belongs. With only 13 episodes, Season 7 of Workin’ Moms felt like it was dragging its feet to the finish line. In what ways might the series improve? It aimed to address the many obstacles that contemporary working mothers face. It’s clear that Season 7 is a farewell tour for the show.

Is it worthwhile to check out Season 7 of Workin’ Moms?

Even if it’s evident that everything should have been resolved in the previous season, fans shouldn’t miss out on Workin’ Moms’ seventh season. The tremendous appeal, humour, and ideas ensure that the series will always be a hidden gem.

Season 7 of Workin’ Moms: Anne Makes It Through the Crash

At the beginning of the seventh season, the show resolved its biggest cliffhanger to yet. Fans were left wondering what would happen to Anne (Dani Kind) after season 6 when she was injured by a car. Anne’s survival from the collision and her strange behaviour sets the tone for this season. The first episode did a fantastic job of finding the humour in a very serious subject. The show quickly shifted to depict the daily struggles of the other mothers, including Jenny’s (Jessalyn Wanlim) search for work and Kate’s (Catherine Reitman) management of a successful but questionable customer.
