Rep. Tom McClintock’s wife Lori McClintock died after consuming so-called Herbal treatment
The spouse of a California congressman died last year after consuming herbal treatments meant to reduce fat, diabetes, and high cholesterol, a report confirms.
Lori McClintock, the wife of Rep. Tom McClintock, suffered and died from dehydration due to “adverse effects of white mulberry leaf ingestion,” as per an autopsy report gathered by a news channel.
A news agency gathered a copy of McClintock’s autopsy eight months after she was found dead in her Elk Grove, California home.

Lori McClintock’s stomach was filled with almost intact White mulberry leaf.
The congressman found his wife on Dec. 15, 2021, after returning from Washington, DC, where elections were held a night ago.
McClintock was diagnosed with gastroenteritis, or inflammation of the stomach and intestines after her death, which the Sacramento County coroner ruled an accident in March.
White mulberry leaves are considered to fight heart disease, hypertension, and more, as well as stop weight gain.
“The leaves and other parts of the tree contain a milky white sap called latex, which is mildly toxic to humans and may result in symptoms like an upset stomach if ingested or skin irritation if touched,” Healthline states.
A reputed authority under Obama administration said this:
“There’s a science to this. It’s not just what a coroner feels,”
“People, unfortunately, pass from dehydration every day, and there’s a lot of different reasons and a lot of different causes.”
said Fabricant, supervisor under Obama’s presidency on dietary supplements at the FDA.
McClintock, who became the wife of a congressman in 1987, was a real estate businesswoman in California at the time of her death, according to the LA Times. She was 61.
