If charges will be filed in the deadly 2021 movie set gunshot of a cinematographer by actor Alec Baldwin during its “Rust” Western rehearsal, the Santa Fe district attorney will announce on Thursday. Alec Baldwin Shot Halyna Hutchins
On October 21, 2021, while setting up for a scene at the ranch outside of Santa Fe, cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was shot and died shortly after. Hutchins was killed and director Joel Souza was injured when Baldwin’s revolver went off as he was aiming it at Hutchins. Hutchins’ death was initially investigated by Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza, who noted “a degree of carelessness” on the set.
