The murder suspect has not been caught yet although the sheriff’s department has identified the accused and his picture is also posted on social media.

the murder of the deputy has been taken seriously by the police department and there was a curfew-like situation to catch the criminals. There was a shelter-in-place order imposed in an area near the widefield high school.

The sheriff’s department want to catch the criminal at the earliest, the sheriff also ordered the local citizens of Ponderosa Drive and Grand Boulevard to close their windows and gates and stay away from any place which can come under crossfire.
the Sheriff has said he has dispatched a team of expert professionals to deal with this criminal. Department does not take it easy when one of their own is killed. we hope Ponderosa Drive and Grand Boulevard will soon be safe and the criminal suspect will soon be behind bars.
