Browning was a workhorse who helped Cincinnati win the 1990 World Series and directly contributed to the National League in the beginning four times. He also won 20 games in 1985. In a 1-0 victory over the Dodgers on September 16, 1988, Browning pitched a perfect game, ending with a strikeout of Tracy Woodson to cement his place in history. With his 12-season career, Browning went 123-90, spending his first 11 seasons in Cincinnati and his final two starts with the Royals. Accepted back into the Reds Hall of Fame in 2006 was Browning.
