Justice For Impressi has been making rounds on the internet for quite a while now. A young adolescent girl was brutally murdered and raped on the 24th of March by Sabeer Ali, the alias Baba Khan.
What is Justice for Impressi?
According to Additional Superintendent of Police – Harish Rathore, the girl was found hanging from a lamp bulb. This incident took place in the Surajjpur district of Chhattisgarh. The doubt arrived when the victim’s younger brother arrived, and his sister didn’t open the door; he became tense. This led him to call up the neighbors.
However, no substantial clue was found as the accused had suffocated the body so that no odor came out. After the police arrived and investigations began, the girl was found to be raped and murdered.
Women’s safety should be the top priority of our government. People have been coming out of their homes and doing candle marches to help the girl’s family get justice. The girl was not only raped but was even murdered. The culprit had hung her to a lamp bulb with a scarf. To make it look like a suicide, he had also written a suicide note with her hand.
However, the girl’s parents denied the claim that their daughter would commit suicide. Furthermore, the forensic report has clearly shown that the girl was raped.
Many people have expressed their condolences to the family. The government and police are trying their best to get the culprit its deserved punishment. Women’s safety should be of utmost importance to all of us, and we should try to keep the women of our society safe.
