Kelly Clarkson has stated that she is finished with marriage, but that she is open to the possibility of falling in love again and that she is dedicated to helping her children adjust to her divorce.
Recently, the singer discussed the effects that her divorce from Brandon Blackstock, who is the father of her two children, has had on her family. Blackstock is the man who raised her children.
Why is Kelly Clarkson planning on a divorce?
“I literally ask my children, ‘Are you happy?’ as we are cuddling together every single night. And if you’re not, what are some things that you could do that would make you happier?'” During an appearance on “The Angie Martinez IRL Podcast,” Clarkson stated. “Sometimes they’ll say, particularly over the past two years, and it hurts me and I want them to be honest, so I don’t ever say, ‘Oh god, don’t tell me that,’ but a lot of the time it would be like, ‘You know, I’m just really sad. I really miss having both of my parents under the same roof.'”
In addition, she stated, “I’m cultivating that kind of person. I would appreciate it if you could tell the truth to me. Clarkson has stated that the fact that she was reared in a household that has previously been divorced enabled her to understand better the feelings involved.
“I just sit there, and all of a sudden it hits me: ‘I get it. I also come from a family that has been split up before. I got it. “That’s a bummer,” she exclaimed. Nonetheless, we will find a solution to this problem. You are held in such high regard by the both of us. I believe that connecting with them and not treating them, not treating them like an adult because they’re not an adult, but also not treating them like a child, is the best way to deal with them. Those are not trivial emotions at all. Those are enormous sentiments, and those are enormous experiences. “

In June of 2020, Ad Feedback Clarkson and Blackstock ended their relationship, with the singer citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. She stated that she does want to find love, even though she does not intend to marry again in the near future.
She declared, “Being married is not in the cards for me.” As a child, I lived through a couple of divorces in my own family during the course of my lifetime. It is one of my deepest desires to experience love. I really want to meet someone, fall in love, and have a family someday, but the fact that I already have kids makes it impossible for me to accomplish those things right now.
